On 1-2 December, students of the Tashkent International University of Education (TIUE) visited the international fair Craft Fair Uzbekistan 2022 and Tashkent International Tourism Fair 2022.
At the Craft Fair Uzbekistan 2022, handicrafts from all regions of Central Asia were presented and master classes on applied creativity were organized. The organizers were the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, the Hunarmand Association, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. Students got acquainted with the products of artisans from all regions of Central Asia and neighboring countries. Also, within the framework of the fair, master classes on crafts were organized for everyone.
Tashkent International Tourism Fair 2022 or Tashkent International Tourism Fair – “Tourism on the Silk Road” is the brightest and most ambitious event of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian region. The fair has been held since 1995 with the official support of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
The students visited exhibitions of tourist services and crafts, presentations of the tourism potential of the regions of Uzbekistan, gastronomic and many other events.
