TIUE students at the Virtual Reality Festival

On 9 December, students of the Tashkent International University of Education (TIUE) visited the Virtual Reality Film Festival – Digital Autumn: Sensations as part of the field–trip. The festival was held on the territory of the French Alliance in Tashkent.

The Virtual Reality Film Festival is a platform where VR projects by authors from France, the UK, the USA, South Africa, Argentina and Iraq are presented. These projects have won various awards at international venues. In particular, The Key project was presented at the festival, which received the main award of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York in the interactive Storyscapes category and became the winner of the Venice International Film Festival in 2019.

Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with virtual reality technologies, dive into the virtual world and directly experience the possibilities of modern digital technologies. It is important to note that the French Alliance, on the territory of which the festival was held, is part of the French Alliance Foundation, located in Paris, as well as an official partner of the French Embassy in Tashkent.
