TIUE and KFU to collaborate in the field of education

Tashkent International University of Education (TIUE) has established cooperation with Kazan (Volga) Federal University (KFU, Russia) to develop educational and scientific programs.

The signed memorandum of understanding between the Rector of Tashkent International University of Education Nosir Khodjaev and the Director of the Elabuga Institute of Kazan (Volga) Federal University, Elena Merzon, aims to foster international cooperation and strengthen ties between the two educational institutions in the field of education and science.

This is in line with the Intergovernmental Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation on Cooperation in Higher Education, signed on 27 July 1995.

Within the framework of the memorandum, joint educational and scientific programs in the field of education will be developed and implemented. Tashkent International University of Education and Kazan (Volga) Federal University will facilitate student exchanges, as well as exchanges of educators and researchers for the purposes of learning, professional development, and the advancement of scientific and educational activities, including international academic exchange.

Additionally, both parties plan to conduct joint scientific research, fundamental and applied research in the field of education, and engage in collaborative innovation activities. They also intend to organize international educational, research, and technical projects, congresses, symposiums, conferences, seminars, and exchange educational and scientific literature.

“We are delighted to establish cooperation with Kazan (Volga) Federal University as it opens up new prospects for the development of our university and the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two countries. We are confident that joint educational and scientific programs will lead to improvements in the quality of education and scientific achievements in our institutions and contribute to the overall development of science and education,” noted Rector Nosir Khodjaev of TIUE.
