On 21 April 2022, a meeting was held between representatives of Tashkent International University of Education (TIUE) and Dongshin University.
During the meeting, Seongrok Oh from Dongshin University and Nosir Khodjaev, the rector of TIUE, provided information about the two universities.
Seongrok Oh, representative of Dongshin University, said he hoped that cooperation between the two countries would strengthen ties between the two countries and they discussed the possibility of opening a Korean center at TIUE, improving the qualifications of the faculty, establishing student exchange programs, and developing joint educational programs.
At the end of the meeting, the two universities discussed joint agreements to train and retrain modern personnel.
Nosir Khodjaev proposed creating a working group of representatives of the two universities to discuss further work. The proposal was supported by Korean partners, and the working group began its work.
