EDUCATION MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP (MSC)

QUALIFICATION OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

TIUE ‘s dual-disciplinary program “EDUCATION MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP” is aimed at those who want to connect their future with the field of education as a teacher of Russian and English.

The purpose of training under this program is to master theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills in the field of Russian and English, and the development of pedagogical competencies for the preparation of highly qualified specialists who will be able to carry out pedagogical activities in school education.

The teaching, methodological and scientific content of the Bachelor’s degree program in “Philology and Language Teaching” includes various modules aimed at developing knowledge and skills in the field of Russian and English language teaching.
Language of instruction: ENGLISH
Modes of study:Daytime training Monday through Saturday.
Upon graduation, a bachelor’s degree is awarded in EDUCATION MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP (TIUE).

Master’s Degree Requirement: 6 compulsory modules (subjects) totaling 180 credits (UK Credit System) must be mastered.

Term of study:

1.5 academic years (consists of 3 semesters).
Classes are held during the day in the form of lectures, seminars, practical classes, master classes and industrial practice.
Scientific and pedagogical work and thesis are carried out under the guidance of a supervisor.

In this program, TIUE aims to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills used to develop the educational strategies necessary to implement an effective Russian and English language teaching process, taking into account the requirements of modern education.
This program is also suitable both for those who are already active professionals in the field of education and for those who aspire to become highly qualified educators in the field.

3RECOGNIZED HIGHER EDUCATION DEGREE

Upon completion of the Bachelor’s degree, graduates will receive appropriate professional teacher training and a diploma of higher education in “Philology and Language Teaching”.

In accordance with article 31 of the Education Act, a diploma awarded to graduates of licensed non-State institutions of higher education(https://lex.uz/ru/docs/5013009, https://tiue.uz/ru, https://stat.edu.uz/Univer-list.php , para. 8) is recognized in Uzbekistan on an equal footing with a diploma from a State institution of higher education.

In the modern era of globalization, language knowledge is an important competence for a specialist in any field.
Language teaching starts from school and ensuring the quality and efficiency of this process is the foundation of linguistic as well as intercultural competence – one of the key flexible skills of a specialist.

Graduates of the program will have the necessary knowledge for professional and pedagogical activity in the field of school education, and will be able to continue their studies in the relevant specialty of Master’s degree.

Acquisition of fundamental knowledge in the field of education management through the study of modules on contemporary issues in education, educational change management, and effective intercultural communication.

1 YEAR

The development of theoretical knowledge and practical skills through studying modules on pedagogy, practice in education, leadership, and reflective practice in education, as well as research methods in education. The training culminates in the preparation and writing of a master’s thesis.
