THEORY AND HISTORY OF PEDAGOGY (MSC)

QUALIFICATION OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

TIUE ‘s Master’s program “Theory and History of Pedagogy” is aimed at those who want to connect their future with the field of education in a higher education teacher as well as a professional academic researcher.

The purpose of training under this program is to master theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills in the science of pedagogy, to develop pedagogical competencies for the training of highly qualified specialists who will be able to carry out pedagogical activities in higher education, as well as to conduct research activities.

The teaching, methodological and scientific content of the Master’s program in “Theory and History of Pedagogy” includes various modules aimed at developing knowledge and skills in the field of pedagogical science, as well as research in education.
Language of instruction: UZBEK / RUSSIAN
Modes of study:Full-time training Monday through Saturday.
Upon graduation, a Master’s degree (TIUE) is awarded inTheory and History of Pedagogy.

Master’s Degree Requirement: 6 compulsory modules (subjects) totaling 180 credits (UK Credit System) must be mastered.

Classes are held during the day in the form of lectures, seminars, practical classes, master classes and industrial practice.
Scientific and pedagogical work and thesis are carried out under the guidance of a supervisor.

TRAINING PROGRAMME

1 YEAR

Acquisition of fundamental knowledge in the field of education management through the study of modules on methodology of scientific research, reforms in the education system in New Uzbekistan, pragmatic aspects of pedagogy, organization of innovative-pedagogical activity, development of pedagogical thought.
It is also envisaged to carry out scientific-pedagogical work.

2 YEAR

Development of theoretical knowledge and practical skills through the study of professional spirituality.
It is also provided for the fulfillment of scientific and pedagogical work.
The training is completed by preparing and writing a master’s thesis.

Academic Requirements:

Successful completion of the internal exam on:

Math;

English language proficiency or submission of an English language certificate (IELTS 5.0 or above or equivalent)
