APPLIED MATHEMATICS

PROGRAM QUALIFICATION OBJECTIVES

The program “Applied Mathematics” is aimed at those who want to connect their future with the field of education as a teacher in such subjects as mathematics and computer science.

The goal of training in this program is to master theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills in the field of teaching mathematics and computer science, as well as the development of pedagogical competencies for the training of highly qualified specialists who will be able to carry out pedagogical activities in school education.

The educational, methodological and scientific content of the bachelor’s program “Applied Mathematics” includes various modules aimed at developing knowledge and skills in the field of mathematics and computer science, as well as methods of teaching these subjects.
Language of instruction: UZBEK/RUSSIAN
Forms of training: Daytime education Monday through Saturday.
By ending studies issued diploma Bachelor’s degree by direction Applied Mathematics” (TIUE).

Structure qualifications consists of from 27-30 mandatory modules, general volume which makes up 480 credits for receipt qualifications.

Upon completion of the bachelor’s degree, graduates will receive the relevant professional teaching training and a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics.

In accordance with Article 31 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”, diplomas are issued to graduates of licensed non-state higher educational institutions (https://lex.uz/ru/docs/5013009, https://tiue.uz/ru, https://stat.edu.uz/Univer-list.php  point 8) and are recognized in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on an equal basis with diplomas of state higher educational institutions.

The education sector is the basis for the progressive development of the country, and applied mathematics is the foundation for technological development and digital transformation of all sectors of the economy.
In addition, mathematical methods and information algorithms are used to solve complex problems in areas such as economics, finance, transport, medicine, social sphere, etc.
Graduates of the program will have the necessary knowledge for teaching in both the state and non-state sectors of school education, and will also be able to carry out professional activities in the field of extracurricular and additional education or continue their education in the relevant specialty in a master’s degree program.

TRAINING PROGRAM

1 YEAR

Acquire fundamental knowledge of mathematics through the study of a number of modules, such as algebra, geometry, elementary mathematics, number theory, differential equations, mathematical analysis, as well as number systems and numerical methods.
The study of these modules will serve as a basis for further in-depth study of mathematical

2 YEAR

Development theoretical knowledge and practical skills by means of studies such modules like Mathematical logics and theory algorithms, discrete mathematics, theory stability, theory probabilities and Mathematical statistics, mathematics analysis.

Except that, given well starts studying theoretical basics informatics, operating and informational systems.

Development these modules is base for studies complex IT subjects​ on subsequent courses.

3 YEAR

Deepening of acquired knowledge and skills by studying the basics of automation and computer technology, artificial intelligence, programming and robotics, computer graphics and animation, software for mechatronic and robotic systems, as well as web programming. The acquired knowledge also forms a comprehensive basis for professional activity in the field of programming and robotics.

4 YEARS

Improving knowledge and skills with in-depth study of information security, visualization methods and computer modeling.

The course also places emphasis on developing teaching skills through the study of pedagogy and psychology, as well as methods of teaching mathematics and computer science.

In addition, teaching practice is provided to implement the acquired theoretical knowledge.

The course concludes with the preparation and defense of a final qualifying work.
