Administration of examinations

At the university, student knowledge is assessed by combining the results of the Midterm Exam (MIDTERM) and the Final Exam (MAIN EXAM).

The Midterm Exam is conducted by the instructor in accordance with the module’s duration and credits, based on the approved academic calendar.

At the end of the semester (weeks 14-15), faculty members submit a detailed report of Midterm Exam (MIDTERM) scores to the Exam Unit.

At the end of each semester (in weeks 16-17), the university organizes Final Exam sessions for all modules taught during that semester.

In accordance with the university’s academic requirements, a student’s successful progression to the next year of study is determined by the timely and full completion of all assigned tasks for every module specified in the curriculum, as well as by achieving a passing grade on the final exams.

If a student, for any reason, does not successfully complete a module on the First Attempt, they are granted a second, free opportunity (1st Retake) to clear the academic deficiency for that module, in accordance with the university’s current academic regulations.

If the student is also unsuccessful during the second attempt (1st Retake), they are given a third and final attempt (2nd Retake). To participate in this attempt, the student must make an advance payment in accordance with the current fees approved by the university.

Scores obtained from the Midterm Assessment (MIDTERM) are not considered in the evaluation of retake exams.

All exams and retake processes are organized within the established deadlines in accordance with the university’s approved academic calendar and internal academic regulations. Students must adhere to the official announcements published by the university regarding exam schedules, retake dates, and fee amounts.
