About the program
The educational program “Theory and History of Pedagogy” is designed to train highly qualified specialists capable of carrying out professional teaching activities in higher education, as well as conducting scientific research in the field of pedagogical science. The program is interdisciplinary in nature and combines theoretical, methodological, pedagogical, and research training.
During the course of study, students develop fundamental knowledge of the evolution of pedagogical thought, the patterns of development and functioning of educational systems, as well as contemporary trends and reforms in education. Special emphasis is placed on research methodology, analysis of pedagogical concepts, innovation in education, and the development of scientific and pedagogical thinking.
The program promotes the development of academic literacy, critical thinking, and research and analytical skills, enabling master’s students to build a comprehensive understanding of pedagogy as both a science and a professional field, and to successfully pursue careers in teaching and research.
